A correct air quality monitoring system foreseen the use of two mobile laboratories properly fitted and completed with control system for the atmospheric condition. Both mobile laboratories must be placed on two different sites comparable from the amount of vehicular traffic and exposition to the sun.

- a mobile laboratories next to the reference area that won't be treated
The pollutants to be monitored are SO2, NOX, O3, CO and the air characteristic to be controlled are: speed of the wind, temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, solar radiation and rain felt.
The monitoring period has to at least of eight weeks. The weeks should be equally divided in weeks before the treatment and after treatment and the photocatalytic effect should be assess thanks to the comparison between the data collect on the untreated area and the data collected on the treated area.
