The TiO2 employ as anti-polluting element has already had a spread diffusion in addition with cement mortar or lime based but not yet in addition with asphalt concrete pavements. The main problem was the adhesion between TiO2 and the organic asphalt concrete; a trouble faced only filling the voids with cement mortars however to the detriment of skid resistance and main characteristics of the pavements.
Coverlite® solves this problem. Result of a long and intensive research carried out by Impresa Bacchi in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano and University of Rome La Sapienza, allows to apply the best anti-pollution technologies over asphalt pavements.
